Workshop Kurikulum Merdeka

Bapak Zulfikar Mengisi Sesi Pertama

“In kurikulum merdeka, we don’t know the word class anymore, but the phase. In the independent curriculum, you do not have to teach all the material and are free to determine the KD and KI. Determine the CP, TP and ATP” is how Mr. Zulfikar started his material session.

In presenting his material, Zulfikar focused on the cases of the fathers he met while traveling outside the island. The children chatted lightly discussing the time difference between Banjarmasin and Surabaya. In giving an example of this case, Zulfikar can describe what things the child has learned through a short chat with his father. One of them is coherence knowledge which is knowledge that can identify something (the process of analyzing). This knowledge is necessary for the children so that the children do not learn to memorize only.

“How good are lions when they enter the sea, don’t they?” Zulfikar initiated the definition of ecosystems. Similar to students, even if they are enthusiastic about entering class and participating in learning, if the curriculum is not right, it will fall into the trap as well. Plunged into nurtured stupidity. Therefore, the kurikulum merdeka exists to improve the students’ ecosystem in the learning process.

Workshop Kurikulum Merdeka

Bapak Mahropiono Mengisi Sesi Kedua

Then the second session was presented by Mr. Mahropiono. “In kurikulum merdeka, child development is very crucial. So, the process takes precedence. That’s why we don’t know about completeness because the competence that is prioritized and it is not the content of the material being done, but how children can learn throughout life. Therefore, we develop literacy and numeracy so that children can go there,” said Mahropiono in explaining the purpose of kurikulum merdeka.
This workshop ended at 15.00 WITA closed with a group photo session and the distribution of coffee breaks.
